What does it cost?

For now its free. We'd love to keep it free for ever but, sorry guys, we have to earn a living too.

Subscription fees will start in Q4 / 2007. We currently discuss two models - please tell us, what you think about it:

Model 1 - Account plans, where you pay for the number of task lists, starting with a free plan with one task list up to an enterprise account plan with unlimited task lists, the plans ranging between 19 and 300 $ per month. The advantage of this model is that you pay according to the plan and you don't have to bother how many people you invite. The disadvantage of this model is that when you have for example only 2 projects and invite only 3 people you start at a comparatively high price (i.e. 19 $).

Model 2 - You pay an amount (less than 1 $ per month) for each team member you invite to a task list. The advantage of this model is that you pay exactly for what you really use. In the example above with the two projects and 3 people you would pay less than 3 $ per month. On the other hand if you invite 400 people to your projects to probably pay a more than the 300 $ according to model 1. In model 2 it would of course be possible to have a discounting scheme where you pay less for each team member the more team members you invite.

Why "Getting Business Done"?

Is my data safe?

Yes. From August 1st you can chose between a regular connection (http) which is faster and a secure connection (https) which is safer. Your personal contacts can be seen only if you decide to share them. And your task lists can be seen only by the team members to whom you extend that privilege.

What is a Task List?

A task list is a series of tasks linked together to support a recurring business process or time constrained project.

What is a Task List Template?

A task list template is a pre configured list of tasks. There are three pre configured task list templates: sales, projects and support.

What is a Team?

People and partners who you have invited to participate in carrying out Actionize tasks and achieving milestones and goals.

What is a Milestone?

A milestone is a project deadline to which you assign tasks. You decide if you want to show the milestones in a task list or if you only want to see the tasks.

What is a Task?

A task is something that needs to get done. A task has an owner (it is assigned to someone), a subject and a message. As team leader, you decide when a task is due: "later," "soon," "do until," and "do at." You need to enter date and time only for the "do untils" and "do ats."

What is an Action?

Each action someone takes for a task is stored in the history of the task. With each action you can assign the task to a new owner. The new owner is notified by email (if she has set up the notifications accordingly)

What is a Contact?

A contact is either a person or an organization. You can use contacts to manage the addresses and information of your customers, partners, suppliers, employees etc. Contacts can be linked to view the relationship between an organization and it's employees, partners, providing you with a 360 degree view of your project's relationship web.

What is a Contact Link?

You can link contacts to show the relationship between an organization and it's employees, partners etc. Or to show which persons are connected how.

What is an Org. Unit?

Org. Units are organizational units. When you create an Actionize account, you obtain your own personal org. unit. Contacts assigned to your personal org. unit can be seen only by you. Each task list is also an org. unit. If you want to share a contact with your team members, you must assign it to the org. unit of the task list.
